are sonic powerhead pumps any good???

ok the penguin powerhead pump filter that i used to use in my tank recently broke i need a replacement real quick. i am looking for a good deal on a more powerful powerhead pump i have come accross the sonic line of power heads,
does anyone have any experience with these types of power heads? what would be a good price for one?
