Leo age question?

gemdreamer Feb 18, 2005 02:28 PM

how old do they have to be, before you can physically see if they are male or female? I have several I aquired as babies I intended to sell and never asked, but I kept to breed them.

One is a patternless, I bought him as a male. But I was unsure, because the V pattern is not any different then the rest of the young ones. He is about 30 grams. His head does seem larger then the other ones.

I am fairly new to having young ones and breeding, I can tell the difference once they are older its just Im having a hard time now.

Also one other stupid question how does one get their private info at the bottom of these posts? Im not new to Kingsnake, but ive never thought about putting my signature or that type of info on my posts until now.

Thanks Shari

On the males there should be bulges that form where the body meets the tail. You can tell its a male at a pretty young age.
As to your signature go to user prefs its a few inches above where you type your subject in to post.
