Hatching Eggs... an important question

froggiefantasy4 Feb 18, 2005 03:29 PM

i found some pond eggs and they started forming into oval shapes. so i figured they were going to be hatching soon. but now the black ovals are outside the egg jell but theyre still attached to it. is this ok? i heard that they might be dying. i really hope this isnt the case. please someone let me know!! thanks so much!

If their frog or toad eggs that's normal. The tadpole hatches and eat their shell for protein and food, and they will go away in a couple of days.
