I have a vet appt. on Feb 28, but I'm thinking it would be wise to try to get in ASAP. My ig has been a holy terror lately and I noticed something VERY odd in his mouth the other day. It looks like a smaller sized grape near the back of his tongue. The vet's office said I might be seeing his trachea, but I don't know....I'm worried. He has been EXTREMELY aggressive lately. His nose is all beat up from attacking thru the cage. Does anyone know what an ig's trachea looks like or, better yet, does anyone have a picture???

Anyway, I feel a little better that you described it as a lump, but I haven't been able to see a hole in it. I'm gonna call on Monday to see if I can get in earlier. I agree that there should be more herp vets!! It's about impossible to get in when you need to!
