Hi Phil,
It's been quiet eh? I have a post coming in a few minutes you'll enjoy.
Ants? Yes, the Californicus have been out here in AZ for a month or more and I saw my first Rugosus two days ago. It's getting very green here with all the great rain. Should be a great Spring.

Texas ants are still down for the count, we have had a wet year, and we are at least 10 degrees cooler than normal. I usually don't see Texas horned lizards out until around April 15th or so, in spite of it getting warm by that time. We still have a couple weeks yet where it traditionally has had a freeze so I don't expect any action for awhile, even the anoles and swift lizards are still down...........

Hey,
I haven't posted for awhile, but right now in sunny california it hasn't been that sunny. It looks to be promising though as soon as the rain lets up and it dries out a bit. I don't have any pogos near my house, but my lizard ate the messor andrei I could find. I saw a few of these when I went on a hike the other day. I hope to see more HLs this year than last year. I only saw one HL last year and about 12 the year before so, my hopes are up.

Hey Geckoboy!

It HAS been a long time since you posted. How are your herps? You made it sound like the HL is doing well, so thats great. Well, glad not everyone is hibernating, this rain is gonna make for a nice spring. Can't wait. heh. Talk to you guys later
