i have been using carefresh for my mice,today i put them on pine shavings, and i think they dont like it. all the mice put all the babies in the food bowls and all the adults are also in the food bowl and thats where they are sleeping . guess they just have to get use to it.

Try airing it out for a day in the sun. Pine has volital organic compounds it, that may be what is bothering them.

I use Pine too, the trick is to remove any large or sharp wood chips and provide them with some tissues or paper towels for nesting. I bet you it will work.
