Horned Toads... as Pets!

Check out this classic booklet I dug up.


It has some very cool photos but is loaded with misinformation as the pic and caption below show.
Very interesting anyways.

I wonder what Ditmars, and Stebbins had to say about that when it first came out. It does have some cool pics. I love the "squaring off with an iguana lizard" pic. In my experience, the Desert iguana just walks right over the poor HL. Oh well. Live and learn, and then get some practical experience. Herping really has changed. Have a good one guys.
