Please visit http://www.seyadfarook.freeservers.com/chameleons.html to identify chameleon specie (sorry, freeservers.com does not allow image linking).

Although I vowed to never have chameleons again (I prefer snakes to lizards), I had to take them yesterday from a trader who guessed they would die very soon in his “care”. He knew nothing of their origin, etc. or didn’t want to tell. These chameleons are about 2.5 - 3 inches of body length & approximately same length for the tail. Starved and dehydrated. I live in the Middle East.

Thank you.

I think it`s a chameleo senegalis. If you see for yourself at ADCHAM, click at the pictures of senegalis. It resembles ure pictures the most.

I would have to agree with the guess of Senegal...
And good luck with them... They look like they are in really bad shape. Keep an eye on the tail of the one in the last pic (if that's his tail going across the leaf, behind his leg) and make sure that no systemic infection develops from that... Any good herp vets in your area?
