My Mali Uro

MultipleMorphHerps Feb 19, 2005 11:22 AM

Here is my Mali Uro in her somewhat new 90 gal. enclosure. I rescued her form a pet store who's temps and care was way off. I couldn't feed her anything but canned vegies for a month until I finally got her to switch over to a staple diet of greens.

Her tail also had mild tail rot, where the a few rows of scales on the tail had fallen off due to the humidity in the cage at the store. Now she is very happy and active, just like any Uro should be!

Thanks, my substrate is wheat bran and I have been using it for about 2yrs now and its works perfect, though it is a little dusty at times.

I have had chubaca or chewy for short, for about 2 1/2 years now and I finally picked up this new tank for her at the IL NARBC show.

Her tail has healed fine except for the two missing rows of spikes on there.

When was the IL NARBC show? The one (I think it was october) last year?

I live in IL and I've been waiting to see when the next NARBC show will be (last year's was in Chicago, it's 3 hours from where I live and I would have gone but I had college classes to attend to).

It's on the 8th and 9th of October, a Saturday and Sunday. It was also on a Saturday and Sunday last year. I believe October 9th and 10th.
