Weight/Lengh ok?

miskittlegrl Feb 19, 2005 11:40 AM

Hi. Today I weighed and measured Sam. He is will be 4 months old in a day or 2 and he is 13 1/4" long (tip of nose to tip of tail) and weighs 147 grams. Is this a good lenght and weight for his age? He's also shedding for the 3rd time since Ive had him in 2 1/2 months. Thanks
Meghan

Seems like a pretty healthy length to weight for that age to me.. Some dragons can grow extremely fast being the size of most adults by 6 months old, and some are rather slow taking the full 12-18 months to reach a nice adult size.. From my babies last season I have some as large as 550 gram 22 inches at 10 months, and some around 15-16 inches and 250 grams at the same age.. They are all healthy, and I believe all of them will reach a healthy average - and some even reaching above average size as adults.
