I would to hear your opinion on spider balls. Do you find them to be shy, good/poor breeders, behaviorally normal etc. I've heard mixed stories about spiders and thought I'd ask this forum before I purchased one. Thanks for your input!

The act pretty normal, I think people get the idea that somehow this appearance gene also causes behavioral changes...doubtful...however, there has been a link to some weird twitching when they are young. I have never seen this, nor has mine ever displayed this activity. Generally, they act just like any other captive bred ball python, good eaters, and when properly cared for, great pets.
I plan to in the next several months.

Spider's are awesome snakes.
My spider is a great feeder and always takes a meal, no worries here. I am very happy with him and plan to get a few more.
