Sorry for the late response. Changed shifts at work. The trip to west Texas ( Val Verde ) was OK. Found a few snakes. This is the list of what was found on 5-10-03 ( Sat. ). 1 Gray Banded King ( Hwy 90 cut ), 1 Long Nose Snake ( Hwy 90 ), 1 Bull Snake ( East of Del Rio ), 1 Texas Horned Lizard ( Juno Rd. ), And a trillion DEER and JACK RABBITS!....LOL! I also did some herping at lake Amistad on Sunday and found 3 Coach Whips, and numerous lizards ( Mediterranean Geckos, Crevice Spiny, Spotted Whiptails, and Greater Earless ). All an All It was an OK trip. Would have liked to have found more but still had a great time. Plan on going back the third week of June for 3 days 2 nights. Later! John Rhoads.
