Translucent pics

Rick Millspaugh Feb 19, 2005 05:35 PM

The Translucent clutch is growing well, they are four weeks old now, one of the Translucents is the largest and prettiest in the clutch. Four out of 16 were Translucent from Het to Het pairing.

another pic

These look a little grainy. I did nothing to change the pics in anyway except crop them. A flash was used on all the pictures because, well it's dark and rainy outside. The raw pics are available if anyone wants to see them but they are big.

It all depends on the camera, and how it wants to act.

I think the photos are good.

I'm new to owning bearded dragons and any other reptile for that matter but those are some beautiful babies. I thought my two were cute but I love the coloring on those.

The Translucents are very different. It is hard to capture in a pic just how different they are. They are rarely seen in this country as most have been exported from what I have been told. Here is a picture of an adult female. We will not use her as a breeder for various reason (we're picky). She can color up pretty nice (she is shedding in the picture). When Sandfire brought them into the USA they crossed them with some of their Best Sandfires so some are very colorfull.
