HTDesigns Feb 19, 2005 06:15 PM

I want to build a rack that would be low enough to have several levels. so I was wondering can I use flex watt heat tapeto heat the enclosue and then use a 48 inch flor. light for uv.

the ambient temp in the room is about 80 now and 87 in the summer.

thanks Paul

Undertank heat sources like tape can provide good supplemental belly heat for babies. The problem with using it as the sole heat source is that beardies naturally seek "up" sources of heating, so are likely to climb up and crowd a basking light for the light, but not get sufficient heat. Insufficient ability to raise body temp. will cause serious health problems.
