I picked this guy up today from an owner who did not want him. He has two bumps on lower jaw. See link for picture. Are they absyses? Ideas?
Thanks in advance...

I know exactly what those are, my ig had the same thing when he was very young. They are burn marks. Either from being directly burned, or in my case, shedding skin being peeled off way too early. (My mom thought my ig needed "help" and peeled the skin that was about to shed off, but it wasn't ready and that was the result.) All you can do is put neosporin on it, and wait for him to shed a few times. (It may never heal 100%.) But I would take him to the vet just to have the rest of him checked out.

They look like perforated abscesses to me. The iguana needs a vet visit to clean and debride the abscesses and to get antibiotics. Here is a photo of a fairly large abscess that hasn't perfed yet on a small iguana.
That's horrible.. It looks like a tick is sucking his eyeballs out.
