Is there and easy method to picking mealworms our of their substrate. Whenever i buy bads of mealworms they are always just the meal worms and nothign else their shedded skins, poop how do they do it. Any hints

Well i have an extra 5 1/2 gal tank so i just put the screen lid on it and put the mealworms and usually and sawdust on it and shake the scren lid. It seperates them in less than a minute and you just have to slide the mealworms off of it and some of them get stuck in it so you just pick those out.
