Macklots python feeding

solfugid Feb 19, 2005 09:46 PM

How often should I feed a young macklots python? He is eating hopper mice. Should I feed him every 4,5,6 or seven days? Thanks.

Hell, honestly I feed all of my snakes as often as they will take food, as long as they arent looking obese My personal opinion is thjat if a snake is young feed it as often as he/she wants. Also you might hear alot of people talk down about feeding live food but thats the only way I personally have ever fed snakes, I myself believe it helps preserve their natural killer instinct, and that's what keeps them unique from other animals. I truly hope this helps
Sincerely,
Joseph Clayton
