As far as I can tell it is...lol.

My guys eat about 10 crickets a night, plus a mealworm...and they're even younger. This is WAY more then my frogs would eat. They like to pig-out for about 6 days straight, then have an "off" day where they don't eat much. The next night, they are right back to eating like pigs.

I do hear that once they are adults the eating will slow down.

"This is WAY more then my frogs would eat"

You do realize that frogs are amphibians and lizards are reptiles... They arent even in the same class... Even different species of reptiles eat more and less than leos, for example a baby beardie will eat 2 dozen crickets where as a leo will eat mabye 10. Any ways, i dont have any clue where you got that analogy from but, ok....

I had White's Tree Frogs and they were at least twice the size of my geckos and ate less then half of what my leos eat...and still were waaayyy fat.

Do you really think I didn't realize that one is an amphibian and the other is a reptile?? It wasn't an analogy, it was a comparison. Compared to my frogs, these leos are pigs!!
