Today I picked up a future breeding pair of Diamondback water snakes from a show. The male is much larger than the female, but both are in pretty decent shape. The female was a little dehydrated but I wuickly fixed that preoblem and I fed them both scented pinkies earlier tonight. The male fed voraciously but the little female just ate it. She did not go crazy for it but for both of them to eat the first night I have had them is a big plus. I was going to get soem feeding pics but I was too busy with my other snakes and stuff so I did not. I took pics of both but the only 2 pics that turned out worth a crap was of the male. I have realy got to get me real good camera, maybe my parents will get me one for my birhtday in MArch. Well, these are my first diamondbacks and I would like to see pics of anyone elses if I may ask. Pierson, you have soem don't you? Oh, why is it bleeping me everytime I type the word diamondback? If that is a curse word or something vulgar I guess I have not been watching enough south park to know what it is.lol. (that was just stupid for me to say that).

Son-of-a-gun Justin, so you have a pair of Diamondbacks! (Ha! No beeping, so I guess I didn't use my thumbs to type it.) Maybe if your fingers didn't hit six keys at a time that would'nt happen?
But on to the important stuff - NICE! Very, very nice! Perhaps one day if I grow up, I too may be able to get some Diamondbacks. I love their pattern. I'm wondering if your camera is like mine where, close up shots are sharp but at even a couple of feet the quality degrades? Notwithstanding, you realise of course that ANY pictures are appreciated, so a few more would be just fine ...

Well, my camera is not to good at any shots realy. It is better than nothing though. The close ups are usualy not very good neither are the few feet away shots. I took about 15 pics of that one snake last night and got them on my computer and those 2 were the only ones that were any count. And the camera is so little for a giant like me to use. I cannot keep it comletely still with my big fingers. Oh and I don't hit 6 keys at once... Only 4. But back when I got it it was one of the pretty good ones. I'll try to get ups some more pics and this tiem of the female.
