thodej Feb 19, 2005 11:34 PM

They showed a shot of a yellow speckled tree monitor i believe, not positive though...I would guess that it was placed there for effects cause i saw some columbian red tail boas on there also, but was curious if they inhabited pulau tiga island...
And no I am not a fan of survivor but nothing else on tv.

thanks,

josh

I saw it earlier in the week, I saw a quick pic of a V.indicus. and several shots of Candoia sp. (Pacific Island boas). Both occur on many of the Pacific islands. But you never know, they do use lots of "stock footage". FR

Was it the "first episode"...where the winning group got tipped over in their "canoe" by that wave and they lost their flint?
If so, was it an indicus? I wonder if that was the same shot that I saw...would be interesting if these shows listed more info on the wildlife shots. Cause the boa shots that I saw I coulda sworn they were red tails...but then again, I was in the middle of an argument with my girl so I could definitely be wrong.
Frank, u sell monitors right? Would like to sometime get some ackies from you if u sell or have ne...in the future though, not ne time soon; but I really like ur quality of animals.
