A Question About Blood Balls (please don't flame)

GabrielG_pro Feb 20, 2005 11:46 AM

I am currently trying to breed my male ball and my female back blood and I was wondering about something,

Bloods have much higher clutch sizes(8-25), could this trait be passed on to create an "uber" ball python that has the abilly to produce 10-30 babys? as well as, Can it be possible to cross morphs from balls (pied, pastel) with morphs from bloods(Marbled, striped)?

Remember, these are just questions. Thanks for reading.

I'm not even sure the cross is possible, but it would certainly be intresting.

The cross is possible and has been done. But I don't know if the hybrids are fertile and capable of reproducing themselves. I don't think anyone has gone far enough to try it with morphs..... maybe they have. Interesting, but not my cup of tea.

I know that Ball X Angolan have been produced, but does anyone know if they are fertile with either parent species, or other Ball X Angolan hybrids?
