oh my goodness....do you know why the iguana bit that guy? that really is terrible and i hope he heals and it doesnt get infected and all that... that really is terrible. is he scared of the iguana that bit him now? if not i bet he sure will be mroe cautious are it. was the iguana a tame iguana and just it out of the blue or is he not so tame. im kind of scared now that when my iguana gets that big he'll bit me. i would be afraid of the iguana forever after that. i really would. anyhow please reply back!

The iguanas look to be in breeding season ie. very orange. Looks really bad. I hope mine won't do that to me. ouch!!

Wow.......that is the size of my ig and he has been horrible lately ....I hope to God he never gets ahold of me. I would probably pass out if it did that much damage to me!!!!

I hope it heals okay! Wow, what a nasty bite!! Scary!

That's horrible, but I rarely hear about that happening. My 15 yr old male has never bitten anyone, and is very good around my 2yr old daughter. He's just a big green baby. (I wouldn't doubt though that he could possibly take off a finger or 2 if he wanted.) Was the ig socialized properly? I have heard that sometimes when iguanas aren't around a lot of people at an early, they tend to be aggresive towards people who aren't around it regularly. It's the same thing with monitors though, some monitors are like kittens, some are vicious.

Wow.. she either has to have a small arm or that ig's mouth is friggin huge! I've seen a baby monitor bite.. it's pretty bad. All my pets are constantly in human range. not as to where they get stressed but so they can handle being around my gf and son.
