The ally is all settled and looking fine as he sits and catched rosies every night now. My only concern is that he doesnt seem to be eating anything else. What else can I try for him to eat? He doesnt eat the reptomin, i put a little snail in there, plants, crayfish and ghost shrimp. Any ideas? thanks

id give it a little time.when you run out of rosies see if he will eat the reptomin.but if he does not go for them at all dont let to much time pass without eating, snails might be too much for him now at this time, crayfish also.i feed my juvis brine shrimp like crazy,is that like ghost shrimp?

This will sound tough and mean but whenevre I get an animal that is used to eating a certain kind of food, I don't feed it for a couple of days or even weeks then leave the food I want it to eat. Eventually, they won't have a choice but to eat what you give them. Hunger knows no food. After that, I'll start introducing different kinds of food so they won't get very picky. It will benefit the both of us that way. Show him who's boss.

For the firt year I had my snapper she would only eat guppies. Then she would ONLY eat salmon bits. Then she began eating reptomin, shrimp, chicken livers and live fish but no salmon.

I would give it some time. Keep offering your turtle different foods and hopefully he will decide to try them one day.
