This probably is a dumb question but...
My snake is going to shed (i can tell by the cloudy eyes) and i was wondering if it is ok to handle and feed my ball when its getting ready to shed? Thanks.

Snakes in general get a little, shall we say, touchy when going through a shed. They don't see well, so may get defensive. Some will eat during a shed, but some won't, so unless it's been quite a while since the last meal I wouldn't bother. It certainly won't hurt it to go without for another week while it goes through it's shed.
Thanks for the advice. I think ill just leave it to itself until its through with its shed and then feed it.
I'm having exactly the same situation with my female, but I figured I'd keep feeding her normally until she'll refuse to eat and then hold off until after her shed. Her eyes are cloudy as well but she has continued to eat normally. I don't handle her at all though.

I only offer mine food when not in shed. I'd try not to handle them while in shed, just seems to irritate them and would be a bad deal if you got nailed just cause you wanted to hold them
My female just shed normally day before yesterday. She did eat as usual prior to shedding but was not handled at all. Now she has a very strong appetite and ate an f/t mouse yesterday.
It seems that if they want to eat when in shed you can feed them, but not worry about it if they refuse to eat.
