introducing leo's

i was just curious on methods of introducing leo's together. i have two leo's one female almost full grown i just wanna know how u guys introduce youre leo's my male is a couple of months younger. ive read about people putting them together i would like to use my 29gal for the both of them instead of keeping one couped up in my 10 gal. any advice would be great.

It looks like to me that you want to breed them, so one important thing to keep in mind is there size. The male can be a couple months younger but need to be the same size or larger. He won't be able to show domanance over her to breed.

Also, I don't know any "right" way to do this, but I just put them on diff sides of the tank and they meet while looking around.

Remember that you need to put the female in the males tank, so if you don't have that now, put the male in the 29g for a week then put the female in there.

Hi Dragonvet, recently i introduced my male and female and they were fine although i was watching them very closely i eventually let myself keep them together for a few days hoping they would breed but my female does not seem gravid Maybe i should try again! But as WiteLeo said put the male in your 29gal and introduce the female later.Gilbery007
