Posting pics of our Sat afternoon trip down to Derek Yagi's house. I tell you this guy's collection is overwhelmingly awesome. I can't believe I only took pics of one snake. Maybe so wait until you see the snake.

Pictured here are Mr. Derek Yagi on the staircase, Matt (MDC), Ruben Martinez (Ruben14). and Justin Higgs.

Of course it's my opinion, I said it, didn't I?
Breeding season is always just around the corner....JOY!!!

mdc Feb 21, 2005 11:10 AM

I can't tell you how much I wish I owned that guy to go with this girl in a couple years --> possible super arabesque sunglows. You are a very lucky man to own that animal. It is simply spectacular. I don't know how it's possible, but it was even more red and better looking in person.

It was nice to finally meet you.
Take care,
Matt

dyagi Feb 21, 2005 12:28 PM

also it was a pleasure meeting you too. Your female and my male will make a good breeding project. Start to power feed her ( just kidding ) lol. Time will fly bye and before you know it, she'll be ready to breed. By the way I did see that spot on your nose. I think Alex did that on purpose, so he can look the best lol.

I doing, I'm making a horrible face in that first picture? Not the most photogenic am I? Well anyways had a great time with everyone yesterday. Haven't had that much snake stimulation in a while.
Ruben you survive? Better question to ask Matt and Alex did you survive the ride home with Ruben or did he just pass out?

All the best,
Justin

Hey a quick question. I know of four produced last year. Jeff Gray has one, Pete Kahl has two, because his boys were the dads, and Tom Burke sold one. Is that beauty from Tom?

dyagi Feb 21, 2005 06:34 PM

from Tom Burke. If I remember correctly, Pete produced 2, which one of them went to Tom, so I thought there was three. I bought the Arabasque Sunglow while I was in Daytona. He has gained a lot of color since. I hope he holds his colors.

Earlier this summer when I was talking to Amanda, she said how they did not have the Sunglow Arabesque long, and it was bought. She only had a picture after just its first shed.

Pete's male sired two litters, one with Jeff Gray, and one with Tome Burke. I know there were three, I thought there were four. Jeff has one, as does Pete, although I thought Pete had two. This would make your's number four.

Oh well, I guess Pete would know the answer.

Back to your boa, simply extravagant.

Did you know Pete had a litter of Jungle Sunglows off of the Swedish line this year?

topnotchboas Feb 21, 2005 04:26 PM

Hopefully with any luck I'll have some baby Suri's. You'll have to come down with Alex and hand pick a few.

Ruben14 Feb 21, 2005 11:20 AM

name right.(LOL) He has me down as Ruben Martinez! Thats cool though. With all the driving he did, i'm sure he was a zombie by the time he got home. Next time we'll have to pick up Lokken and that keg you mentioned! Thanks for having us over again, I had a blast.

At least Alex didn't center the water spot on his camera lense right on your nose like he did to me. Did you see that thing. He called me up last night and said "I don't know what happened to your nose in the pic. It looks funny, but I'm going to post it anyhow." Thanks Alex.

camera. It didn't pick up my baseball cap that I had on backwards. I told you I don't like pics. My head looks like I have a rice bowl haircut ( I can say that, can't I? being that I eat rice everyday. ) LMAO. We'll try to get more pics next time you come to Sac. Anyway it was a blast. Next time Ruben can bring a keg of beer with him LOL.

Linda can we bring the party to your house next? On a serious note I'd like to someday see that amazing collection of boas you have and go horseback riding. If I remember correctly you do have horses, but are they riding horses? Good luck this season, but from the looks of your post you're already on your way. Take care and keep those criminals in check.
