I've heard people say there are different Mali species based on their size.One gets 12 - 13 inches long and the other gets 15 - 18 inches long.DOes anyone know if this is true or are they confused with the Acanthurus?

I think they're confusing the SEX size difference of mali's.
Male's get up to 18 inches in length and females get up to 15 inches in length.
