The black king should make a good snack for the pueblan!

king eats milk, or vice versa, I didn't note which one was larger.

Of course it's my opinion, I said it, didn't I?
Although I'm yet to be convinced (when it comes to milksnake) ... housing lampropeltis is not recommended ... besides the two vary ... black milks get really big while Campbelli are a smaller subspecies.
Personally I wouldn't house the two 2gether...
Finally decision is yours

Milk Snakes and King Snakes should be kept separately from each other, they are cannabilistic snakes that can and will eat each other. King Snakes and Milk Snakes should always be housed alone.

The black king will kill the milk and try to eat it, even if it can't get it down.

Petland I used to go to housed two sinolan babies together for over two weeks. Than they sold one. They lived together and ate in the cage(pinkie) they didnt have a problem but after reading these posts I guess best not to tho I wonder if milksnakes snake snake eaters like kings?
They are both Lampropeltis and are cannibalistic.
Kings will eat milks and milks will eat kings if they are larger.
John Lassiter
Okay thougt maybe milks not that bad because this particular pet store tho granted in my area chain pet stores are horrible did keep them together.
You should NEVER house different species of lampropeltis together. But on the other hand, in my own personal experience, you can house them together as long as they are of the same subspecies and same size.
Getulus such as California, eastern, black kings are the most carnivorus of all lampropeltis.

Definite Yes! Best way to learn snake keeping.

Especially wth lampropeltis.
There are 432097165459246510 posts about this already, and plenty of good reasons in every one of them.

There are a lot of posts...so why did you post?
NICK
Well, someone said go for it, and so I thought I should give a good sincere warning.
Quote: "Definite Yes! Best way to learn snake keeping." was somehow a better respone?
Why don't you ask that fellow what his motivations were, instead of me? There is no reason for you to be harshing my mellow for what I wrote. I understand that the search tool on kingsnake.com forums is somewhat difficult to use, but with a little practice you could have found all of the information you ever wanted on the subject of your post.
I am just trying to help you and your snakes out, my post was a manner of suggesting you might go read those posts, as opposed to me re-writing the book on why one should not to house snakes together.
Your idea was not a good one, and your feelings are hurt, for that I empathize with you. A wise person would let the ego-drain go it's own way, and do what's good for the animals.
Best of luck to you
