Great pictures, and lovely tegus. My male has spent the whole winter up, and each shed he's getting redder and redder. Hopefully he'll get as red as yours.

my heavy hibernater just woke up yesterday too. They must be psychic.
Great pics Bennett. They sure look good.
By the way, I was at the Woodland Park Zoo today but didn't see any tegus. And believe me, I looked for them in the reptile house. It wouldn't be surprised if they are still hibernating in a back area. Do you recall how long ago they got the tegus? I did notice that all of the reptiles looked quite docile with the one exception of the anaconda who was quite active.

They were '03 babies. It is very likely they are still sleeping.

That's what I figured. I couldn't find anyone from the zoo while we were in the herp house, so couldn't confirm. I was bummed that I couldn't see them.
