I've just aquired 1.2 Tiger Leg Tree Frogs. Anyone have these guys or know any extra bit of info the might want to share , that'd be great. Roughly a simple caresheet.
Thanks,
Mike

Hey,
I have what i think is 2.1.2 phyllomedusa hypochondrialis. There is a care sheet on my web site. There's a link under the waxy monkey treefrog. They are cool frogs and my males call every night.

I keep my Phyllomedusa hypochodrialis on sphagnum moss bedding and place several cheap terrarium plants such as "pothos" or "crotons" for them to climb on. I spray them 4X a day and place a water dish with rocks in the tank as well. They eat like pigs, I feed them dusted crickets and wax worms. This is working so well, they actually started breeding tonight. Now all I have to figure out is what to with the eggs!
Send them to me if you don't want them. My group is still split up for quarintine and will be ready in a month.

How often do the tiger leg tree frogs breed?
Hi,
I was wondering how you have your hypos set up. I am going to get a few in a month.I'd like to know things like, size of tank, all screen top or all glass, things of that nature.
Thank you,
Mark Wilson
I sell reptiles, so my 5 tiger legs are set up in a 10 gallon with screen lids, spaghnum moss bedding, several pothos plants, and a water container with rocks inside to prevent cricket drownings. They must be happy since they are breeding. I do clean their tank pretty frequently, I believe that this is one of the most important things in keeping any animal.
I keep my hypos in 10 gallons for now also, until I can put thme all in a 30 gallon in a month or so. They are still in quarintine. I just have paper towel substrate so the crickets won't hide and I have pothos, dwarf ficus, bird's nest snake plant, snake plant, and bird's nest fern. Good luck with your set up Mark.
