I learn this by accident, when feeding roaches in a plastic container, I realised that most unwanted critters stay trapped, I simply add water the roaches escape and all others drown.
Guess this will also work in my monitors cages, seems more promising then the occasional vapona treatment.

just sharing for fun!

hi folks,i am the owner of a large b/t monitor.i admit i know very little about cockroaches.but i wanted to give "bart"something different fot supper and i bought him roaches.i didnt realize until i got home that these things were alive. My question is this ,since i give bart a 10x12 room ,there is a good chance that he will possibly miss eating a few.and i dont want those roaches to start mating.if anyone here also has a monitor in a room sized enclosure, could you please give me some hints on how to feed bart without having to worry about escapees?Any hlp greatly appreciated!
thanks dave

I only feed roaches using tweesers, dont want escapes.
I read that you can freez them for storage?
