Sub-species breeding

chas*e Feb 21, 2005 07:48 PM

I have a male Sistrurus C.Catinatus and a female Sistrurus C. Tergiminus and I was wondering if they can breed..?... I would imagine they could being sub-species but I have not heard of anyone I know that had this cross.

Yes, they can, but I dont think it would make a snake any more or less spectacular than each species by itself. I suggest not creating a "mutt" if you can help it.
