He calls him Smiley (ear to ear).
He likes to eat mice!!

Nice frog! You should try to cut back on mice though. They are actually bad for the frogs. You see, mice carry a sort of lipid (fat) that can not be digested properly by the frogs. If you feed your frog mice, the fat begins to build up. This can cause blindness if the lipids build up around the cornea and liver failure if it settles in the body. Both lead to premature death. I would feed strictly invertebrates. Hissing cockroaches make a great staple, along with crickets, nightcrawlers, mealworms, and other inverts. In the wild, frogs eat about 80% other frogs (a bad diet in captivity due to parasites) and the rest is usually made up of invertebrates. A horned frog in the wild might eat a mouse once in its life time if even that. Good luck. Andy
