Henkeli in last shipment?

bkstewart Feb 21, 2005 09:25 PM

I noticed that Reptile Depot has an ad in the classifieds for various uroplatus species, including henkeli. I called them and they varified that a few henkeli that came in last week with the other species that are still legally exported from Madagascar. Apparently, they probably came in mislabeled as sikorae. They didn't have any pics available but said that they were identical to the pics of henkeli they have on their website and that they were guaranteed henkeli. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or could verify that Reptile Depot has true henkeli? I realize that henkeli are next to impossible to obtain (especially females) so I am kind of intrigued by this opportunity. Looking forward to hearing from anyone that could help me with this.

LLLReptile also has some - I called today to order a pair of Corkbarks (they had the pair for a mere $199!!!), and asked about the henkeli listed on the site. They verified that they were henks and not fimbriatus. So thats another opportunity... (and they're probably cheaper there too).

I bought the very last pair... I saw $199, and even though I wasn't really planning on any more leaftails, I had to have the pair at that price.
