My female blue tongue skink has been waving her arm a lot lately. What does that mean?
Is she digging with it? What are the red marks on her back?
She's not really digging, just waving a lot. The red marks are the reflection of her heat lamp. Could waving be a sign that she is ready to breed?

No, not a sign of breeding...perhaps she has a sore arm, or maybe she's just weird! Lol!
Maybe she's just trying to hail a taxi or could have been cross bred with a bearded dragon. LOL
Just kidding. Have you thought of high heat. Maybe it's her way of telling you it's too hot or it could just be a strange quirk to get your attention.
Hope you find an answer.
