baby rat snake

OK i need some guidance on on feeding them its about 6 inches long lady brought it into my sons job hes a vet teck said they just came out of eggs.
ok what do they eat at this stage?
i looked in search wasnt sure i found right so if this is a repete probolly is im sorry

Try to feed it a 1 day old pinky mouse. Try to feed it a frozen/thawed one first. If it doesn't take it, try to feed just the head of a pinky, or a live pinky. Do you know when it hatched? If it hasn't had it's first shed yet, it may not eat until it sheds.

Rule of thumb is to feed prey that is the same width as the snake is.
