Eye cap? Clouded eye? what's wrong with my new gecko?

Rhacophile Feb 22, 2005 06:20 PM

Well I just bought a few mossy's and it seems one of them has developed a "eye cap" "clouded eye" overnight! It appears to be a thin opaque membrane over only ONE of the eyes. What do you think could be the problem. Thanks for any help you can provide.

didnt notice it going into shed or anything, did you? maybe it injured its eye and you just didnt happen to catch it. dont know for sure...

I've seen where the whole body will shed, except the thin piece of skin over the eye (its not cloudy though)in crested geckos. Its hard to say without a pic, but see if a shower does any good. Its a good thing to do with new arrivals anyhow.
