? about housing different species together

I live in texas and have a small local gecko that I found at the bottom of a scap heap that I call LUCKY. He is living quite contently in a 10 gallon and is getting fat on crickets.
I just got back from big bend and found a small striped lizard about the same size as the gecko. Would they be happy as roommates or do I need another setup?
Thanks
Travis

well it depends.does the gecko live on the ground or climb the walls.how big is the gecko and the other lizard.if they are the same size and below the 7-8 inch mark and also the gecko is arboreal it should work but if both live on the ground it could present problems.hope this helps

Well the lizard seems to want to be on the ground and the gecko is always upside down on abranch. There are many places for both of them to go. Each are 3 - 4"
Thanks

then it should work out.just monitor tem at first to make sure no fighting occurs.and provide plenty of hiding places.also make sure each gets their fare share of food.hope this helps and good luck with the 2 of them.

one thing. the gecko probably doesnt, but the lined lizard, as you say it, probably will need some uvb lighting. and remember, the lizards may grow. just keep us informed.
