Baby's gecko's won't eat worms........

jaky Jul 07, 2003 06:57 PM

Lots of little baby gecko's have been making their way into my house lately. I hear when they are older they eat palmetto bugs and stuff like that. I live in Florida. I went and got mealworms and wax worms. They just sit there are stare at them. The pet store owner said they might be too young for mealworms, but should eat the waxworms. They haven't eaten in like 2 or 3 days. The gecko's are bigger than the wax worms, and like the same size as the mealworms. Are they too small? or just not hungry.

I have mediterrian (sp) geckos, and try as i might, I can't get them to eat mealworms.
I breed mealworms and superworms, so I put little ones in there in a bowl that the geckos can easily scale and get into, but the worms can't get out of.
They've been in there so long uneaten, I've now got more breeder beetles.
Any advice?
Right now all their eating is crickets
