Is it against the TOA to post messages in the forums for bloodline trades? It seems that this is an excellent place for smaller breeders who only have 1-3 pairs of each species to get together and swap bloodlines. Is a message such as "I have an unsexed U. henkeli that I would like to trade for a similar unrelated animal" okay? As there is no money involved, it doesn't seem that this is advertising... right? Thanks for considering this...

And yes it is considered advertising, and belong in the classifieds and not on the forums.
"Advertising" generally means the solicitation or statement that you have animals and/or items that are for sale, trade, wanted, free/being given away, stud service, or for adoption.
Sorry its not the answer you were looking for, but thems is the laws of the land HERE, LOL 
You can always ask your friend to contact you personally (email)if you would like to talk trades/ sales/ give aways.

IF by chance someone would ask, "anybody know who may have a red bearded dragon, I'm interseted in one."
You could say I breed those kind, email me. Or, there is one listed now in the classifieds.
That would be okay!
But you can not just say hey guys I have my iguanas for sale in the classifieds.
They will find them if you do, believe me, people are always looking in the classifieds, LOL I do a couple times a day, ehehhehe.
