I have successfully bred my olives using standard python fare....a slight cool down period (I use an ambient cool down temp of about 74-78F at night and 78-82F during the day, with a hot spot of about 92-95F for about 3 hours during the day) and reduction in photoperiod for about 2-3 months, with frequent introductions of a single male into a female enclosure for periods of 5-8 days at a time, at which time I rotate in a different male. I typically start rotations at the beginning of the cool down (which isn't much of a cool down) and continue through and after temps are returned to normal (I use ambient temps of 84F with a hotspot available 24/7 of about 94-96F using 4" flexwatt heat tape). I have had frequent copulations throughout all parts of the breeding season. Good luck and if you ever get "tired" of your olives just let me know (ccarmichael@malone.edu).
Good luck and cheers,
Chris
