Help! Monitor has something under the skin?

vferra7777 Feb 23, 2005 10:02 AM

Thank you all in advance. We have a 3' savannah that has several hard bumps on its body, just below the surface. One of these burst on its own. We dug through the cage to find skin and a small hard yellow object. The monitor eats turkey, crickets, mice etc.. Does not go outside or get any wild caught food items. Cage and temps are right on. The object from inside the wound looks like a yellow smooth pebble. If you hve any ideas please e-mail me at vferra7777@cs.com or call the store at 804.744.0330 between 1-8pm. Thank you, Vinny Ferraiolo
