Baby Leo and Adult Leo

What's the rule of thumb on keeping a baby (3 month old) leo in a tank with two adult leos (4 years old)? Right now, baby has own 10 gal tank and I was thinking I should wait until it is 1 year old before I mix them (assuming it's a she as the adults are 1 male and 1 female).

However, they seem to be okay looking at each other thru the glass and don't freak out like my Tokay did when he sees a leo close to him thru the glass.

Please advise.

you shouldnt keep a baby leo in with adults at all the adults will try and eat the baby i would only do that if they are the same size and make sure that they both arent males. and also if you do put them together when the baby is older make sure to watch and make sure that one gecko isnt bullying the other. look for signs like if a gecko stoped eatin or a dropped tail if you see that then separate them. good luck

ditto what leoman89 said: never EVER put a baby in with adults, they will eat or at least kill the baby. and leos should be the same size to be housed together. also, yes they are ok seeing each other thru the glass, it doesnt seem to bother them.

You should tell the people at Petco that.

I was just there last night getting some crix, and of course checkin out the leos, and they had combined the babies and the adults into 1 tank. The adults couldn't bug the babies though, because all their tails were pencil thin and their spines were jutting.

I bought my leo from this petco over a year ago, back when they had a good reptile specialist, and she's the healthiest and friendliest leo you could ask for. This was just sad though...

Anyways, yeah, healthy adults could bully and injure your juvie, best not to risk it.
