What's the deal with FedEx?

lovelyleopards Feb 23, 2005 03:01 PM

Can someone help me figure out how to set up an account w/ FedEx? I reached the live animal desk, and the message I received said that they only ship horses and zoo animals, no dogs, cats, birds, fish, or reptiles? I know most ppl ship FedEx - how do you get past this?

I got (I mean a friend, yeah, someone else all together got)a cornsnake shipped FedEx about 2 weeks ago, the box was just marked fragile. I really don't think FedEx had any idea what was in there. The box had styrofoam insulation, a heatpack, shipping popcorn, and the snake was in a pillowcase type snakebag, with the top tied in a knot. I've recieved several snakes in the mail this way from both UPS and FedEx, so far so good. But you didn't hear it from me.

you can ship fedex and UPS but you need to talk to the people in the exotic shipping department... i get snakes from both on a regular basis and the are all stamped LIVE SNAKE
