Egg care HELP!!!

Hacker Feb 23, 2005 03:53 PM

My first clutch stayed attached to the glass and there were no problems, but the last 3 have slid down and I am unsure of the best method of keeping them. First I tryed putting a tray under the egg mass and then they slid into that, but I had a very very low success rate with that. The last time the eggs slid into the water so I scooped them out and they seemed fine the tads inside wiggling, so I put a few in water (separate container) to see if they would live. After a day the rest of the mass slid into the water and the eggs that I put into the water were still alive so I put the rest into water. A day later all dead. If any one could tell me what they do I would greatly appreciate it. Next I was thinking about putting the mass on a small platform in a rubbermaid with water and the lid on for humidity. What do you guys think. I don't feel like loosing another 200 eggs. Thanks very much for your time.

Hello,I have been setting up a large tank for some RETF and I was wondering if you would be interested in selling any of your tadpoles? I'm very interested in raising a few RE from the taddie stage,I have experiance with tadpoles some am confident the taddies would do good.I live in North Idaho, where are you? Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,Gail Creviston
