Pleasent Suprise!

I came home to see my Green x Yellow conda just finishing up a shed, and it's colors are so much brighter now. It's temperment has calmed down some, not a lot, he is still kind of squirmy and always "runs" back into his water bowl whenever you open the door, so maybe he is just scared? Since he was in a shed, I didn't want to hold him, because I've never seen a snake that was happy to shed, so I haven't tried to hold him again yet. But either way, here are the pics!

Here's is his skin, it was longer than the width of my room so I couldn't get a great picture of it... I know that snake skin stretches and all, but that's a good idea of how big he is.

Buddy, you are in posession of one awesome reptile, I hope you are able to handle it as much as possible, that animal is one of the nicest condas I`ve seen. I wonder what offspring would result breeding it back to a high constrast bumblebee yellow. Are you sure thats a male? Looks pretty damn stocky for a male. Spur size seems to be a good indicator sexing these animnals, males have raptor claws, females small cones. Amazing!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm trying to handle it some, but it's REALLY squirmy and jumpy, sometimes snappy. I'm pretty sure it's a male. I'm going to be taking it to a vet to get a check up sometime pretty soon so I will get it sexed for sure up there. But it's about 3 years old, and feeding on 3 lbs rabbits, so that's why it's pretty stocky I suppose. Yeah I bet there would be some very beautiful offspring to a bumblebee yellow anaconda. I do have a 7' female green anaconda to breed him to in a couple of years, unless I get another large female yellow or large female green for him. If I do breed him, I'm going to probably be very selective on who buys the babies, instead of breeders, maybe collectors. But either way thank you very much for the comments!
