Glad you're taking her back to the vet. Since your leo's been sickly lately, there's a good chance that the eye infection is just the outward sign that she's got an internal bacterial infection. That would explain her thinness, etc. In other words the eye infection may be just the tip of the ice berg. Mention this to the vet and try to get the vet to give you oral antibiotics (best IMO = Baytril) for her, not just antibiotic eyedrops. Because the eyedrops may not be enough (voice of sad experience here).

I'm not sure if there's anything you can do meantime. warm water to gently wash her eyelid off is all I can think of.

ok leaftail thanks for all the help during the rough times if i knew you personally id kiss you but anyways i gave that formula to her and she seemed to snack on a mealie over the night but she is shedding tonight and should i still feed her or wait until tomorrow night

btw i got the stool sample back and it was negative but should i not trust that 100%

sometimes just before they shed they can get their eye stuck and it might look like infection. Check her eye after the shed, it might be ok after all.

and you can trust the results of the fecal like 95%, although not 100% since the sample might not have contained the bugs.

but do you reccomend a feeding tonight or 2morrow because she is shedding i dont wnat to stress her more

use your judgement. you can give it a try and then stop if she's really not interested.

Still take her to the vet! Even if the eye's not infected, she's losing weight and not eating so there's DEFINITELY something wrong with her. I think she needs oral antibiotics. Given that she's been dewormed and doesn't have internal parasites to begin with, the next most likely thing is a bacterial infection. I don't know if leos can be easily tested for this, cause I think the test is to draw blood and leos just dont have that much to spare. But maybe the vet will put her on antibiotics to see if it will help. I'm hoping so. Keep us updated.
