UV(B) Meters Group on Yahoo.Com Groups

SharkKing Feb 23, 2005 06:30 PM

Hi, folks!

Is it just me or has anyone else had problems with the required
reading files that you have to download on the Yahoo.Com UV(B)
Meters group forum before you can start posting a lot of
questions about UVB lights and such?
The reason I ask is because I downloaded about 6-8-10
individual files (the .txt versions) for reading offline as
for reference only when I went to open any of them Microsoft's
WordPad aborts with the "THIS PROGRAM HAS PERFORMED AN ILLEGAL
OPERATION AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN) message and promptly bombs
out. I never have any problems with any other .txt files and
MS WordPad so I don't understand why I do with these. I'm not
in any mood to look further into it myself. I did send the
webmaster/moderator of the Yahoo.Com UVB Meters group a message
suggesting that someone put all of the "required reading" files
into a single .ZIP file so that one doesn't have to download
each file seperately. Point. Click. Point. Click. Point. Click.
Think. Click. Point. Go back to Think. Point. Click....
How is everybody and your Reps? As you can tell I'm my usual
wacked out self and my Anole is just "basking". Oh yeah, local
pet store sold me chirping crickets. What a delight.

Yes, that's been a problem, and it is being addressed. They're trying to fix it, but you may have to be patient for a while. Search the posts from a week or two back - there was a message about it, probably just before you joined. I can't open them, either.
