just what it sounds like. Fill a clean plastic tub with water that is just warm to the touch--just deep enough to come to beardies shoulders. Place beardie in water for a bath. Some beardies LOVE the water--and like to swim too. Others hate water and you have to hold them in. Our female tolerates her baths as long as she has her front legs on one of my hands.

Soaking hydrates the beardie and stimulates the bowels--so watch out for action from that end! (remove immediately if anything happends...)

After soaking a few minutes remove beardie and wrap them in a towel to dry off then place back in tank. Make sure you sanitize the plastic tub (soak in bleach solution) and only use it for bathing your beardie--we use a sharpie marker and label the tub.

Some use a sink or even the bathtub. If you use these make sure they are VERY clean before you start and make sure you sanitize them extra carefully when finished.

My beardie loves his 'baths'....In addition to hydration and bowel stimulation, lukewarm soaks help to keep them clean especially when they poop and then run through it

It can also be stressful. Don't do it very often.
