Nice snake. Is that a black racer? Northernor Southern? Where was it caught?

it was caught close to bragg inside a moist rotting log were it had begun to shed and it was in it was a lake side habitat if you want to find a racer look around lakeside or marsh habitat the snake was found at texas lake outside of Ft.Bragg it was a northern black racer i see both northern and southerns here they are every were on post.
